COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

Compression load cells are the most classic device used in industrial weighing. Easy to install, but with a weak point: the compression load cells are in fact extremely sensitive to lateral loads and therefore require the perfect stability and squareness in the application of the load. For this reason, over the years, the construction technique of compression load cells has been overtaken by the shear and double beam load cells. The most common applications made with the compression load cells are definitely the weighing of silos, even of large dimensions.
